From the green rich land of Lebanon and Rizk Family’s love for Finger Limes, Citron Caviar business idea came about in early 2016 and the planting started in 2017, bringing the original breed all the way from Australia to the beautiful mountains of Lebanon. At the moment, the product line includes the yellow and the green limes and our aim is to diversify our selection in the near future.
The Limes
Citron Caviar (Finger Limes) is Australia’s native limes, the story behind its name is related to the fact that it tastes like limes and looks like caviar, they’ve been an essential food source for Indigenous Australians for thousands of years, and are now grown in Lebanon and introduced in the fine-dining sector to sprinkle the top of your meals for a bold flavor or to stir into your favorite cocktail for a zesty punch. Citron Caviar is a unique citrus! The Texture is in round vesicles with a pleasing pop as you bite down on them, excellent toping on salmon, caviar, sushi rolls, and various seafood. The green original color of the fruit is becoming more popular with chefs as an intriguing ingredient
